Blakeley, Derek

Assistant Professor of History at McNeese State University. The focus of his research is on the domestic political career of Lord Curzon after his return from India in 1905 and debates over imperial policy in that era. He is also researching the raising and role of the Imperial Service Troops of India from their origin in the 1880s through the First World War. He holds his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
