Raymond, Christopher C.

Christopher C. Raymond received his AB in Philosophy from Brown University and his PhD in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin through the Joint Classics-Philosophy Graduate Program in Ancient Philosophy. His research focuses primarily on Plato, Aristotle, and their predecessors (literary and philosophical); he also has interests in 19th-century European philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, and Platonic reception. His paper “Shame and Virtue in Aristotle” (Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy, Vol. 53) was selected by The Philosopher’s Annual as “one of the ten best articles published in philosophy” in 2017.
