Edward CUNNINGHAM is the director of China Programs at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. He focuses on China’s integration into the world economy, primarily through its energy and environmental governance, international trade and investment, and most recently, its philanthropic sector.
