Leheny, David

David Leheny is a professor in the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University, having previously taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Princeton University. He is the author of three monographs, all from Cornell University Press, most recently "Empire of Hope: The Sentimental Politics of Japanese Decline" (2018). His research interests include Japanese Politics, East Asian Security, Culture and International Relations
