Hayat, Seyed Faiz
Seyed Faiz Hayat is a programme manager in economic justice. Seyed heads the Economic Justice programme of Oxfam in Tajikistan where he provides leadership to programme portfolio focusing on small holder farmers livelihood enhancement, agriculture sector market development, climate resilience and gender land rights. Seyed is a development sector practitioner with over 17 years of experience in social development and poverty alleviation in the CIS and South Asia region. His core expertise is in area of multi-sector programme development, inclusive market systems approaches including market and financial systems development and value chain promotion. Seyed's passion is sustainable integration of poor and other vulnerable populations into mainstream economic development, allowing them to both contribute to and benefit from economic growth and transformation. In past Seyed has worked in south Asia with agencies like Aga Khan Foundation, Deloitte and WWF. Seyed holds degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics, UK. His areas of work are gender justice and women's rights, food and livelihoods and private sector.
