Crawford, Nick

Nick Crawford is a Research Associate on the Conflict, Security and Development Programme at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. He is responsible for managing and developing the IISS’s Armed Conflict Database and is also involved in producing the annual Armed Conflict Survey. He contributes to the research and consultancy work of both the Conflict, Security and Development Programme and the IISS more widely. Nick’s research focuses on international responses to conflict and instability. His research interests also include Armed conflict, conflict analysis, International development, stabilisation, Middle East, North Africa and Central Africa.
