Cao, Yiqun

Yiqun Cao (S'05–M'12) received the M.Sc. degree (Diplomingenieur) in electrical and electronic engineering from the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule, Aachen, Germany, in 2007.,In 2007, he joined the Smart Power Technology Research and Development, Infineon Technologies, Munich, Germany, where he works on his Ph.D. thesis in close collaboration with the Institute for On-Board Systems Laboratory, Technische Universität Dortmund, Dortmund, Germany. Since 2011, he has been with the Automotive Power Technology Research and Development Group, Infineon Technologies. His current research is electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection concepts and devices in high-voltage automotive technologies, with focus on component- and system-level ESDs.,Mr. Cao was a member of the Technical Program Committee for the Electrical Overstress (EOS)/ESD Symposium in 2012 and 2013. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award from the EOS/ESD Symposium in 2010 and the Best Paper and the Best Student Paper Awards from the EOS/ESD Symposium in 2011.
