Rangla, Prasert

Prasert Rangkla is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University, Thailand. He is interested in migration and displacement along the Thailand-Myanmar border. His current research focuses on the moral economy of a Burmese immigrant community in Thailand. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the Australian Nation University (ANU), a M.Sc. in Natural Resource Management from the Asian Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Political Sciences from Chulalongkorn University.
