Liu, Yuanyuan

Yuanyuan Liu is a PhD candidate in the School of Geography, Politics and Sociology, Newcastle University, United Kingdom. Yuanyuan’s research interests include media discourse, framing, and con-temporary Chinese politics. Her current PhD thesis focuses on the legacy of the Maoist era in contemporary China and the Chinese official media.
