Mio, Matthew J.

Matthew Mio is a Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Mio holds a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was awarded a Mellon Fellowship to perform post-doctoral research and teaching at Macalester College (St. Paul, MN). Mio joined Detroit Mercy's faculty in 2002.
