Bailin, Israel B.
1883–1961
Aktivist d. revolutionären Bewegung in Russland; Yiddish writer, poet and journalist. Born in White Russia, he immigrated to USA in 1911, where he studied history and literature in Indiana. He started off as a bundist but from 1925 worked for the communists. Wrote for the illegal press in Warsaw. Died in New York in 1961
