Ibrāhīm, Ṣunʿallāh

Sonallah Ibrahim is an Egyptian novelist and short story writer. While imprisoned under President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1959 for his political activities, Ibrahim wrote Notes from Prison and published his first novel, That Smell (1966), shortly after his release. Other works by Ibrahim include Zaat (1992), Warda (2000), Turbans et Chapeaux (2008), and Stealth (2014).
