Broome, Matthew R.

Matthew Broome studied medicine and pharmacology at the University of Birmingham, before undertaking postgraduate training in psychiatry at the Maudsley and Bethlem Royal Hospitals, the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery, and the Institute of Psychiatry. He has a PhD in Psychiatry from the University of London, and in Philosophy from the University of Warwick. Prior to taking up his current post in Birmingham, he was Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Warwick and Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford.
