Fatton, Lionel P.

Lionel Fatton is a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Webster University Geneva, where he teaches research methods and Asian area studies. He is also a Research Collaborator at the Research Institute for the History of Global Arms Transfer (Meiji University, Tokyo). His research interests include theoretical approaches to civil-military relations and arms control, neoclassical realism, Japan’s defense policy and security dynamics in East and Southeast Asia. Lionel Fatton received two MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and Waseda University in Tokyo, and a PhD in Political Science, specialization International Relations, from Sciences Po Paris.
