Thompson, Ben

Benjamin C. Thompson is a historian of political thought by training. His early career was in the U.K. at the University of Exeter and St. Edmund Hall, Oxford. He has taught at Kyungpook National University in Korea for seven years. Topics in history of political thought continue to inform his research, and the connections between interpretive methodology and normative political theory have been particularly important for Thompson’s current investigations on human and critical security.
