Pal, G. C.

G C Pal currently serves as the director at the Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, New Delhi. His academic interest is to understand development issues from socio-psychological perspectives, with a focus on marginalised groups; and explore research methodology. He has been engaged in interdisciplinary research which includes psychology of unemployment; human cognition and learning; identity-based social exclusion, discrimination and violence; disability; intersectionality and deprivation; impact evaluation and inclusive policies. He has M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Social Psychology of Education from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He was a Post-doctoral Visiting Fellow for three years at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.
