Cardona-Fox, Gabriel

Dr. Cardona-Fox's research interests focus on internal displacement and global governance, particularly the effectiveness of international norms governing forced migration, and the effects of forced returns on fragile states. He served as Senior Monitoring Expert with the Norwegian Refugee Council's (NRC) Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) in Geneva where he co-authored its Global Report on Internal Displacement. Dr. Cardona-Fox also worked for many years as a risk consultant and fraud investigator at Arthur Andersen and Kroll, in New York City, where he conducted a number of high-profile international money-laundering and corruption investigations.
