Istrefi, Kushtrim

Kushtrim Istrefi is a Research Fellow at the Cambridge Academy of Global Affairs and a Visiting Researcher at the European Court of Human Rights. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law of the University of Cambridge, the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, and at the Universities of Graz and Antwerp, where he is completing his PhD. He has lectured and presented in US, Switzerland, Slovenia, Spain, Latvia, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria and Albania.Previously he taught International and European Law at the University of Pristina and worked as Legal Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo on secondment from the UNDP/Soros and with the USAID rule of law reform programme.Istrefi has experience in litigation in cases with international law elements.
