Erami, Narges

Narges Erami is assistant professor of anthropology and international and area studies at Yale University. She primarily works on the relationship between economy and religion and how it is played out in rituals of everyday life. Her work centers on the holy city of Qum in Iran and focuses on the world of Persian carpets.
