MacDonald, Nora M.

Professor emeritus of fashion, dress and merchandising in the School of Design and Community Development; active in professional organizations; President of the International Textile and Apparel Association following involvement at many levels; in 2008 named an ITAA Fellow; served Gamma Sigma Delta as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Historian, MacDonald’s service to the West Virginia Association of Family and Consumer Sciences included holding the offices of President and President-Elect; Chairperson for the United Nations 1999 International Year of Older Persons Clothing Initiative working with ITAA, the UN Committee on Ageing, and the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association
