holds a degree in Architecture (Urbanism) (1993) and a PhD (2011) from the School of Architecture at the Technical University of Madrid. She has been a teacher in Town Planning in the School of Architecture at the University of Alicante. She received the PhD Annual Thesis Award from the Technical University of Madrid for 2011. In 2015 she became a Fellow at the Spanish Academy in Rome.
