Laheij, Christian

Christian Laheij is a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle/Saale, Germany. He received his PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2015). His current research focuses on new religious movements, infrastructure and experiences of precarity in the post-socialist extractive economy of northern Mozambique.
