Craig A. Smith joined the Australian Centre on China in the World in 2016 as a researcher interested in the intellectual and social history of early-twentieth-century China. Craig completed his Ph.D. in History at the University of British Columbia in 2014; Senior Lecturer in Translation Studies in the Asia Institute at the University of Melbourne
