Anjum, Shakeel

Shakeel Anjum is a PhD student at the Centre for West Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. As an international relations scholar, he has trained himself in critical theory, postcolonial studies, questions and problematiques of representations in spatio-temporal structures and forms (literature, violent geographies of subjectivity, territory, images - moving, mute and silent, auto/biographies of religion, codes, nodes and notes of happiness and discontent). Currently, he is working on his doctoral thesis titled 'Jean Genet and the Palestinians: Landscapes of Being and Love' based on the Late Style/Works of Jean Genet, French playwright, activist and marginal intellectual.
