Froehlich, Dietmar E.

DIETMAR E. FROEHLICH is a faculty member at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design, University of Houston where he teaches advanced design studios and courses on architecture + film. He is an architect and former Fulbright Scholar. The focus of his scholarly endeavors is the exploration of cinema, new media and architecture. Looking into the transformation of virtual into real space and vice versa, his investigation concentrates on the multi-layered relationship between architecture and film and the search for a common language of the two disciplines.
