Zollner, Barbara H. E.

Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Birkbeck College, University of London. She also serves as the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies' Network Coordinator on Faith, Society, and Politics. Apart from her continuous interest in the intersection of gender rights, human rights, and Islamic law, her main field of expertise is on the Muslim Brotherhood. She has published a number of articles and chapters on this topic and is the author of the book „The Muslim Brotherhood: al-Hudaybi and Ideology“ (2008).
