Strader, Eiko

Assistant Professor of Public Policy, Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Sociology, George Washington University: Washington, DC, US; PhD student in the Department of Sociology at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She conducts research on gender inequality in the labor market, welfare states, and population control policies across western industrialized nations and in East Asia. She is currently analyzing the effect of immigration on the gender wage gap of native workers in the U.S. by focusing on the outsourcing of care work and the labor market hierarchy by race, citizenship, and gender.
