Lam, Chervin

Chervin Lam is a doctoral student at the Department of Communications & New Media (CNM), National University of Singapore (NUS), and recipient of the President’s Graduate Fellowship. His research interest is in health communication, particularly in advocacy and campaigns that may help alleviate health issues or disparities. His current doctoral thesis examines barriers experienced by cancer patients in obtaining health information and solutions to circumvent those barriers. Lam also is involved in projects with the Center for Culture-Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation (CARE) at NUS, looking particularly at issues pertaining to social justice.
