Subudhi, Bidyadhar

Bidyadhar Subudhi received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India, Master of Technology in Control & Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1988 and 1994 respectively and PhD degree in Control System Engineering from Univ. of Sheffield in 2003. He was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engg., NUS, Singapore during May-Nov 2005. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at NIT Rourkela and coordinator, centre of excellence on renewable energy systems. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the IET. His research interests include system identification & adaptive control, networked control systems, control of flexible and under water robots, estimation and filtering with application to power system and control of renewable energy systems
