She has been posted to the Permanent Missions of Mexico to the United Nations in New York and to the International Organizations based in Vienna. She was Head of the Office of the International Criminal Court to the United Nations, based in New York. Since September 16, 2015, she has been Undersecretary for Latin America and the Caribbean.
