Gagniuc, Paul A.

Dr. Paul Aurelian Gagniuc obtained his MS and his PhD in genetics at University of Bucharest, Romania. He is specialized in human genetics, bioinformatics and informatics. His main areas of interest are genomics, genetics, bioinformatics, histology and evolutionary mechanisms (particularly the evolution of the adipose tissue in different species). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, where he is lecturing the Bioinformatics course and the Programming Languages course.
