Abu-Rish, Ziad

Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Ohio University. He is co-editor of the Dawn of the Arab Uprisings: End of an Old Order? (2012) and author of "Protests, Regime Stability, and State Formation in Jordan" (2014). Ziad serves as a Senior Editor of the Arab Studies Journal and Co-Editor of Jadaliyya e-zine.

He specializes in the modern Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and his research interests focus on the political economy and cultural constructions of state formation in the Arab Middle East. Co-editor of Jadaliyya.
