Faini, Marco

Marco Faini is Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow at the Universities of Venice and Toronto. He was Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at Villa I Tatti, the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies; Research Associate at the Department of Italian, University of Cambridge; and Stipendiat at the Herzog August Bibliothek, Wolfenbüttel. His research interests revolve around unorthodox literature and its connections with religious dissent (Teofilo Folengo, Pietro Aretino, Anton Francesco Doni); sixteenth-century devotional literature; private devotion in early modern Italy
