Kitāb al-Arbaʿīn fī uṣūl ad-dīn

Es handelt sich um "die 3. Hauptabteilung"/"Teil 3" (Brockelmann) des theologischen Werkes "Ǧawāhir al-Qurʾān" (dort mit dem Abschnittstitel "al-Lawāḥiq"); immer wieder selbstständig erschienen; ist es identisch mit dem "Kitāb al-Arbaʿīn" in der Enc. Islam und der EIr? (Enc. Islam: "Kitāb al-Arbaʿīn [...], written after the Iḥyāʾ, [...] is a short summary of the Iḥyāʾ, though its forty sections do not altogether correspond to the forty books"; EIr: "After the completion of his monumental work [Eḥyāʾ ʿolūm al-dīn] Ḡazālī wrote a short summary of it, entitled Ketāb al-arbaʿīn "The book of the forty"")
