Rosenhaus, Mendel

1901–1982

Mendl Roznhoyz was born in the shtetl Bobriusk, (Belarus), where he studied and began to work at the local library. He then went to Moscow where he worked in many libraries, among others, in the library of the "Emes" publishing house. From the beginning of the 1960s he was an active contributor to the Yiddish Journal "Sovetish heymland", there he published a number of bibliographical and historical articles.
