Dorman, Andrew

Since 2010 I have gained extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in film studies (University of St Andrews (2010-12/ 2014) and the University of Edinburgh (2013-14). I have taught on a variety of areas, including film history, key concepts in film, modern world cinemas, Japanese cinema, and sexual identities in film. Since 2014 I have also gained experience teaching English to speakers of other languages at Dumfries and Galloway Multicultural Association and in my current job teaching in South Korea. - My current research interests are cultural representation and national identity, external/ global Hollywood production, and sexual identity in film and media.
