Francis Sokulski, 1811-1893 or 1896. Trained as an engineer, involved in the Polish independence movement in the time of annexation. He took part in the November Uprising and January's. As a result of this activity he had to leave the country. For a long time he lived in Turkey, where he was an active member of the Polish emigration. At the same time he worked as a constructor telegraph line in the Ottoman Empire
