Baltzell, Amy

2016: "Clinical Associate Professor of Counseling and Applied Human Development at Boston University. Dr. Amy Baltzell is the Coordinator of the Sport Psychology Track, within the Counseling Program, within the Department of Counseling & Human Development Program. Dr. Baltzell’s teaching, writing and counseling interests are in areas of performance enhancement, positive psychology and mindfulness. She teaches graduate courses in sport psychology and positive psychology. She oversees and teaches graduate level sport psychology practicums. Dr. Baltzell has been involved in sport at all levels including Olympic level rowing and Professional sailing. She also coached youth, masters and collegiate rowing. As a licensed counseling psychologist, and practicing sport psychologist, she provides educational workshops to teachers, parents, coaches, camps, sport teams (high school and collegiate level) She also has a private practice. She was a member of the 1989–1991 U.S. National Rowing Teams, the 1992 Olympic Rowing Team, and the 1995 America’s Cup All-Women’s Sailing Team."
