Dr. M. Sahinoglu, Professor Emeritus from DEU and METU, Ankara, Turkey (1999), and formerly the Distinguished Professor of AUM (2008), is the founder of the Informatics Institute (2009) and its SACS-accredited (2010) and National Security Agency (NSA)-certified (2013) Cybersystems and Information Security (CSIS) flagship graduate program (the first such full degree program in Southeastern United States) at Auburn University's metropolitan campus at Montgomery, Alabama. His specialty are Software Engineering, Programming Languages and Information Systems (Business Informatics).
