Research: My empirical and theoretical research is chiefly in the areas of: sexualities, especially heterosexualities; men and masculinities and gender/feminist theory, particularly debates around Gender/Women´s Studies and gender theory in the academy. An additional research interest is in extreme sports. Running through these concerns are the unifying strands of the life course, well being and social inclusion and identity.
