Roger, Christine

Director-general for justice and home affairs in the European Council secretariat. Before joining the secretariat in 2009 as communications director, she was France's ambassador to the Council's political and security committee, dealing with foreign policy, security and defence issues. From 1999 to 2004 she was head of the private office of Michel Barnier, commissisioner for regional policy and institutional affairs, and was previously an adviser the Commission president Javques Santer.
