Israeli Painter

born in Germany but received all his education in Jerusalem, where he obtained his Ph.D. from the Hebrew University in 1956. He was a researcher at the Soreq Nuclear Research Institute. From there he was called in 1965 and appointed Professor of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at the Hebrew University. There he taught and did research till his retirement in 1999, but continues with research as Professor Emeritus. His main interest is solution chemistry: aqueous, non-aqueous, and mixed solvents, solutions of electrolytes and non-electrolytes. He also is active as a painter, participating in exhibitions
