Nestel, Barry

1932

He joined the Government Veterinary Service in Jamaica in 1954 and moved in 1957 to the Research Department of the Sugar Manufacturers Association in Jamaica. From 1964 to 1970 he was with FAO, first in Colombia and later in Rome. In 1970 he joined the International Development Research Centre of Canada as Associate Director for Animal Science, being posted in Ottawa, Guelph and then Bogota. From 1977 he has resided in England and worked as a consultant specialising in research organisation and management
