I am interested in the nature of representation in mind, science, and art. My work draws on research in psychology and neuroscience to uncover the structure of higher cognition and its relations to perception, action, the body, and the world. I'm also interested in the modeling techniques used by the cognitive and behavioral sciences to explain the workings of the mind/brain. Recently I have begun to work on images and the limits of representation in the visual arts.
