Marquilhas, Rita

Rita Marquilhas is a retired Associate Professor of the University of Lisbon and a Researcher at the Linguistics Center of the University of Lisbon. She is the Principal Investigator of the P.S. Post Scriptum project (ERC Advanced Grant 2011, GA 295562) – A Digital Archive of Ordinary Writings in Early Modern Portugal and Spain (http://ps.clul.ul.pt). She is the author of several studies on the social history of language, mainly, but also on the digital humanities, history of writing, discourse analysis, and phonology.
