Directs Fisher’s Writing Center – supervises a team of peer writing consultants and creates outreach programs for students and for faculty interested in improving writing instruction. The author of a book on early American women poets. Teaches undergraduate courses in classical rhetoric, peer tutoring, service learning, contemporary literature and film, as well as first-year and intermediate writing. Won Fisher’s “Teaching Excellence Award” in 2000.
