McNamara, Sallie

Sallie McNamara is a Senior Lecturer in Cultural Theory at Southampton Solent University. Research interests are varied but focus on gender, class and the body, with projects looking at fashion and "Downton Abbey", erotic fiction, and the glossy magazine. She is editor of collection "Possessing Beauty: Politics, Poetics, Change" (Fisher Imprints 2014), which explores the performance of beauty and its transient nature
