After receiving his Ph.D. in Medieval and Modern Legal History (University of Milan) and in History and civilizations (Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales, Paris), Andrea Bartocci has taught Codicology and History of medieval and modern juridical documents at the Law Faculty at the University of Teramo (2008). Now he has appointments as professor of Italian Legal History and Ius Commune at the Law Faculty, Teramo, where he is serving as a researcher
