Ekonomski Institut (Belgrad)

1947 – Institute for Economic Research was established on November 12, 1947 under the Decision of the Government of the People’s Republic of Serbia, No. 13818; 1959 – Under the Decision of the Executive Council of the People's Republic of Serbia IV no. 84, of March 27, 1954, Institute was named "self-financing institution, under the name of Economics Institute of the People’s Republic of Serbia"; 1959 – Economics Institute gained the status of an independent scientific institution and its present name, Economics Institute.
