Sierp, Aline

holds a PhD in Comparative European Politics and History from CIRCaP (Centre for the Study of Political Change) at the University of Siena. Her thesis analysed the Politics of Memory and Identity in Western Europe and received summa cum laude in June 2011; joined the University of Maastricht as Lecturer in European Studies in August 2012. Her research interests cover collective memory, questions of identity and European integration.
